Add Take Ownership To Explorer

Taking ownership of system files or folders in Windows is not a simple task. Whether you use the GUI or the command line, it takes far too many steps. This Registry hack will add a 'Take Ownership' option to the right-click menu that will handle all the steps for you. To do this, open Notepad and copy the following text into it:

Save the file as 'TakeOwn.reg'. Now, double-click on the newly created file and click 'Yes' to add it to the Registry. Whenever you right-click on any file or folder, you will now see the 'Take Ownership' option.
